Hidden Tricks of WINDOWS

We cannot create folder with following names in windows..

CON, AUX, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, PRN, NUL.

Check it. Because the above names are used for internal function calls of windows. by creating the folder with the above name see the following steps..

1: goto command prompt

2: type in prompt c:\> "md \\.\c:\con"

3: verify by typing "dir \\.\c:\con"

4: delete the file or folder "rd \\.\c:\con"

Now you can see a folder named con in your c drive... Give replies...

Creating folder without Folder Name .

1. Create a new folder.

2. choose rename folder.

3. now press alt+ 255. (press alt with numbers 2,5,5).

4. Let us see now what happen.
